This training will help you work with the mix of cultures in Australia.

It will give you:

- a framework for understanding Australian cultural diversity
- activities to practice what you learn
- links to helpful resources

You can apply what you learn immediately to your work.

The training takes about 45 mins. It has 4 short sections.


Unit 1 Covers Knowledge of:
- Australian cultural diversity and government policies about it
- The experiences migrants & refugees have before arrival in Australia that impact how quickly and successfully they are able to adapt to life in Australia
- Frameworks for how you can reduce service barriers for migrants and refugees

For 2021, Intro to Cultural Competence has been completely redesigned, with new resources and content that is clearer and more engaging than ever.
